War Eagle

Last weekend on our trip to War Eagle I had planned to take pictures of a certain bridge that I had found on a web search. Luckily we didn't turn where I thought we should because we would have missed this beautiful old bridge all together. You can see it from Hwy. 412 around the Huntsville area when you cross War Eagle Creek. The fog was real heavy but I did get some good shots of the bridge. That was worth the drive, although the drive to War Eagle alone is worth making the trip. Especially this time of year!!!
Here is Bree on the bridge. It was so COLD out at that time. I do like how you can barely tell who it is on the bridge( a little mysterious...well, not to me, I'm her mom and I sent her up there ;) )I also love how the sun is just coming up behind her. The fog made it just perfect!
She loves taking serious pictures...so I took advantage of it!
The bridge and fog all by theirselves......
And we did get our picture taken together although I do not like having my picture made for the most part. I'd rather be on the other side of the camera. It's a whole lot more fun!!!

A different kind of name...

We went to War Eagle over the weekend and saw the cutest thing....so I took some pictures today and tried to recreate it. Here is what I came up with....
The quote says"I don't care how poor a man is; if he has family, he's rich" If you like this idea, try it with your family name ,post it , and share it! Have fun!

Twinkle twinkle little boy.....

Oh what a beautiful day to be outside.....and that's just what we did this afternoon. Just wanted to share some pictures from our afternoon with Kayden. Be Warned.....he does NOT like making eye contact with the camera any more, so if by chance there are any where it looks like he is looking at the camera then we just got lucky!!!
One of the few we got where he was looking at the camera, and before he threw the pumpkin which he thought was a ball. Twinkle twinkle little boy, how you fill my life with joy....... Candace and Kayden had so much fun playing in the leaves but we got his allergies all upset...... Even a busy mommy needs to have her picture taken every now and then... Nope...no eye contact. He's just not interested! oh, now this was fun....sure glad he couldn't get his head stuck in there. The first woman a little boy falls in love with is his Mommy........

Cutie Pie Alert!!!

Thursday we took Kayden and Kensie(my niece) to the park for some pictures. Kensie was the perfect little model. She said CHEESE the whole time we were taking pictures. Kayden was not feeling very well but he played along for a while. Poor baby has bronchitis and the tummy virus. Some of the pictures have been edited and some have not.
Kensies face is ghosted into the background...... Here is a few I got of Candace in between her pushing the little ones on the swing. You can do that when your young. Push the babies on the swings...run over and lay down, put on a happy smileand get your picture taken....jump up ...push the swings....put back on your happy smile , get your picture taken and on and on... And without breaking a sweat(now that's an accomplishment right there). The quote is "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched they must be felt with the heart." by ~Helen Keller~ Don't they look excited...... Oh Yeah.... now they're having fun....... Babies are so easily excited by such small things......oh, if only we all could be. Kensie calls Kayden-Kaydee and he calls her either Sissy or Kissy(sometimes it's a little hard to understand) Thought I'd just throw that in for an extra smile.

The wait is over.......

Today was Bree's BIG day.....She was so excited to be getting braces. It's been a long wait for her so I'm glad she finally has them. Now for the not so fun part of it.....I can't imagine it being much fun when they start tightning them,{ ouch} but she doesn't seem to mind at all. She is so ready to get rid of the gap between her teeth.
I'm not sure if you can see it but Purple and green are the colors she chose.......
The next few pictures were taken last night after her concert. Her last pre braces smile.
This one was taken last night at a "Fall Teaser" concert. She had a solo in the song Joyful *Joyful. Great Job Bree!!!!!

Once in a while....

I snatched a picture from my "Southern" friend Sherri and played with it in Photoshop the other day and this is what I came up with. These two are such a cute couple and the quote I found seems to fit them beautifully. They are so very much in love!!! Here's Sherri and her husband David.........
"Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, Love gives us a fairytale"
Thanks for letting me use your picture Sherri!!!

Happy "Cute lil Pumpkin" Fall !!!!
