Okay so the repaired computer was very short lived ....the mother board went out on it or whatever a mother board does...anyway it quit!!! Sooooo here we are with a new computer....which we probably needed anyway. I also had to get a new editing program since my other one was for the older model computer....just in time to do some senior pictures of Bree and take grandbaby pictures =)..... Fall is definately here...and as usual my favorite season of all....I love the colors!!! And along with fall comes Thanksgiving....which is ALREADY almost here....yikes! just one more week.....then bring on the Christmas shopping!! someone that Bobby knows gave him tickets to a Razorback game so we are also going to get to enjoy our first Razorback game next weekend....we watch our schools teams play but this will be our first college game I think...should be lots of fun....Bree would probably like it better if it were for the lady Razorbacks but hey for free tickets...any of them will be just fine! Our little Kooper is having a birthday this week...Already two...wow where does time go? He is adorable as always....I got to keep him for a while today so Kayden and Jaycie got to enjoy him too.... work will come early in the morning and I still have things to do so computer play time is over for tonight....

School has finally started here so it's back to work for me....I love seeing all the children.... Bree is a senior this year so that alone should make for a very busy next few months....and our lil Kayden started pre-school this year....he enjoys it but I think he probably still misses his friends from day care. Bobby bought a motorcycle!!!! Yikes!!! It's a honda Goldwing..something he has wanted for a very long time.... He loves it......I love that it makes him happy! Don't really have a desire to ride it yet though. My computer has been at the computer doctor for a very long time....it was way bad cluttered and needed some things replaced ....AND... now I have it back so as soon as we get it hooked back up and running maybe I will be able to load some new pictures on here....the grandbabies have rown so much since my last pictures I put on here.... Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.....

While checking my e-mail I found I had had a few comments left on my blog...which is kinda surprising considering I have not been a good blogger the past year...Sooo when I checked it I was very dissapointed to find some tacky comment that wasn't even a comment really...just someone advertising a dating thing....So then I logged on to change my comments thing to where not just anyone could leave any kind of comment and I will get to look at them first which is kinda sad that I would have to do that but I don't want anything like that showing up on my blog if I can help it But while checking my blog I realized that I haven't even blogged this year yet and we are now in MARCH!!!!!! How crazy....this year is already going so fast... I thought our computer had crashed because I douldn't get it to come on but then after about 3 weeks it decided to work again BUT is much much slower and I can't download any pictures on it for now because it would take forever so until I get this one fixed or get a new one I can't post any new pictures. =( This weather is so very nice and makes me so ready for spring....and I am normally a bring on the snow kinda person but for some reason this year Spring sounds so wonderful! Hopefully we won't have to wait long.... Our Lady Warriors had a very good season this year....Conference and district champs and were able to go on to State tournament. Didn't bring home a trophy in State but I am so proud of them for playing so well and making it as far as they did!!!! They truely are a great group of girls!

As this year draws to a close I just keep thinking wow...that went by quick...seems like these years go by faster and faster! Yikes!

We have had so many things happen this year...some good, some bad,

and some that still make me sad when I think about them...but through it all I have found God to be faithful and I am so grateful for all the prayers he has answered for us...I found myself wondering a few times if our prayers would be answered but when we least expected it...the answers came. Not always how we would like for them to but neverthless, the answer came.

We were once again blessed to be able to take a vacation out west...to Colorado, my favorite place to visit...we found a new little town that we had been wanting to go to for several years now...Creede....and we loved it, so we may try to revisit there again...but Estes Park is also on our list....I think we REALLY love that town and the RMNP!

Bobby and I have both been blessed in that we have been able to keep our jobs when so many others have not been as fortunate...sometimes I think we take things like that for granted.

I am very thankful to have my mom still with us...she had a rough couple of months to start this year with and the Doctors said to call the family in...which we did, and my aunts and uncle came in as well as my sister from Nevada....but God heard and answered our prayers and I am so happy to say she is still with us. Oddly enough, right before all this took place, I fell on the ice in front of our house and broke my wrist...my dr. put me in a cast all the way up my arm so I couldn't work and I was off for 6 weeks and was able to spend time with my mom while she was in the hospital...if I had been working I wouldn't have been able to do this...I say often " we don't see the big picture that God does" He knew I would need that time to be with my mom and made the way possible.

So this year instead of the usual things I always put on my{new years resolution} "to do list"{which I rarely ever get done} I pray that in the coming year...I will try my best to be a better Christian, a better witness for Jesus to others, a better wife, mother, Grammy, aunt, daughter, sister, and friend...and to also try to be so much more thankful for all the blessings I recieve on a daily basis!

Okay so I FINALLY got back to my blog... Yah I know I said I would be black to blog but somehow never made it back on here....I have by far probably been the worst blogger in the year of 2010!!!! We have been VERY busy these past few months but have news to share....

Kooper turned a big one year old in November....he is such a good baby although he has been very sick with ear infections and his momma has had a time with being sick herself....

Candace and her children moved back here and she has a new job which provides her a steady income for her and her family.... she has had a pretty rough year so we are happy things are looking up for her ....

Basketball season is off and running and therefore we are too! Our lady Warriors are doing well this season! And Praise the Lord Bree has not been hurt or on crutches this year.....

Bobby ended up getting cellulitus in his elbow{OUCH} which landed him in the hospital for three days and having surgery to remove the infection...he is healing nicely now and glad to get back to his normal routine which is busy.....

Bree finally got to get her braces off after wearing them for 26 months...needless to say it was a very special day!

A week before Christmas our daughter Brianna got engaged to a very sweet young man named Dalton...anyone who follows us on facebook probably already heard this happy news =) We couldn't be happier for the both of them...They are waiting until she graduates which will be 2012 to marry. I was fortunate enough to capture this very special moment!

We all had a very Merry Christmas....a very busy day...plenty to eat...but very blessed...

I am off for the week and trying to play catch up with housework and laundry and hopefully get all the Christmas decorations down and start decorating for Valentines Day!

Well, that is about all for now...I would say I will be back soon to blog and hopefully so but with my blogging history this past year I will leave well enough alone for now and just say I will definately try to do better...

This past weekend{a three day weekend for me} I finally got to decorate for fall.... an absolutely wonderful season!!!! The leaves are just starting to change colors so it should really start to get very pretty real soon! The tempertures are much lower which is so nice...

This is one of my favorite signs for whatever reason ......

On a much sadder note... Friday night/Saturday morning our son in law Jimmy was killed in a horrible car wreck with two others....such a sad time for all the families of the three. Please pray for my daughter and her children in the coming days and even months....I know it will be hard on them.

I am so very excited that Fall is oficially almost here!!!! This is by far my most favorite season of all! The colors are so pretty in the fall...the smell of the air is wonderful....hot apple cider and pumpkin bread{mmmmmm}....and a small part of our life seems to slow down a bit while another part is off and running{to ballgames}. Last year Bree spent the first part of the basketball season unable to play due to her ankles and feet swelling and causing her much pain....after a few months of PT she was able to play again ....and this year....welllllll.....may be about the same...her left ankle is once again swelling and causing her a lot of pain....last year we found out the she has fallen arches on both of her feet which is what caused the pain and swelling....not really wanting to go through physical theropy again this year but if that is what it takes then I guess we will.....she does wear orthotics now but they are not helping as much as we would like. The grandbabies are just growing like lil weeds....Kayden is in preschool this year and loving it...Jaycie is walking and trying to talk a lot but we just can't understand all she says yet...Kooper is crawling now and such a happy lil baby! All three of them are such a joy to have around!! My computer is not working as well as I would like(probably due to the thousands of pics I have stored on it-and the cd burner has quit on me) so I just haven't been taking as many pics lately...maybe soon though.... I hope everyone enjoys this beautiful Saturday and upcoming Fall season!!!!

Now that Bree has her first car we had to get some pictures of her with it...plus we haven't took any new pictures in a while so it was a good excuse to get out and do that...of course I think we picked one of the hottest days of summer to do that.....and by 10 it was almost too hot to take any more. Surely it's gonna start cooling down some soon....

funny how just a few years ago it seemed like I would have a long wait until Bree was old enough to drive and date....Boy was I ever wrong!

Wow.....over 2 months and I haven't even updated anything on here....sorry about that.....you would think with it being summer break I would keep my blog updated a tad bit better but I've been slacking(I blame it partly on facebook....I tend to visit there more often to check on how everyone is doing) BUT ......here I am today to update a little on here..... Haven't been doing many photo sessions....partly because of heat and partly because my cd burner went out on my computer so I can't download to cd's right now....I do have several to do in the next few weeks or so so maybe I will have new pics to post on those...tomorrow I am going to try to get some new ones of Bree with her car....yes, she is driving on her own now and has a little Chevy malibu to take her where she needs to go. That will come in handy when school starts so she can drive herself to and from school and ball practice. The grandbabies are growing so fast and I haven't been as good about getting pictures this summer as I have in times past....busy? lazy? one or the other, not altogether sure! Here is Mr. Kooper at one of the softball games this summer.....he is getting quite talkative and has his first teeth now. He will be moblie before we know it!

This one was on Jaycie's first birthday.....she is a busy little thing....very curious about what is in everything.

Mr. Kayden on his birthday....several months ago....he liked the fire on his cake!

And now on to our summer vacation.....very much needed and enjoyed! We went to Colorado once again....we just don't get tired of seeing it....found a new place we love...."Creede" . It is such a cute little town with lots to see there....or at least we thought so...still didn't get to see all we wanted to so we will probably have to visit there again Lord willing. My pics are not in order on how our trip went.....kinda backwards actually...{that would be the bloggers(me) fault}

But here are some vacation pics to share with you..... this was at the Royal Gorge(CanonCity, Colorado) on our way down into the gorge

The pool at the campground we stayed at said it was heated......Bree and Bobby did NOT think so so they only stayed in for about 5 minutes.

The Royal Gorge Bridge....over a thousand feet down to the bottom....it had been about 8 years since we have been there and was nice to re-visit but I'm probably good for another 8 years again.

Once again I am so far behind on blogging and lots of other things....this time of year{end of school year} is so crazy busy here...I am beginning to think all of the business just runs together to make a full year now...we have been in softball season and all the end of school year doings plus this year was Brees first prom....{so sweet} Soooooo now I'm gonna combine several things in one blog since I'm such a Blog slacker.... Mr. Kayden on Mothers day at my sisters house.....I love this and he's not even smiling or looking at the camera, just being himself =) Sweet brother /sister picture...they are so cute together...Kayden was so excited to learn that his sister learned to walk while he was at his daddys.

Well, three weeks down and 3 more to go before I can get this cast off...I will definately be ready to get out and take some new pictures...PLUS I'm hoping the weather is all warm and sunny by then!

Our lady warriors didn't win at the state tournament but they played a good game! WE are still so proud of them for making it as far as they did....and now basketball season comes to a close

BUT

This Friday begins the new softball season for Bree.....she is ready for it I think...she likes basketball but LOVES softball ~~~~so do I!

My mom is doing so much better this week...last week the doctors just didn't give us much hope but people prayed...God heard and answered for that we are so thankful!

Today is my fun, play with Kayden day! I enjoy those days =)

And once again I am missing Colorado terribly bad...we are hoping to visit there again this summer...we'll see though.....and since I have no new pictures to share today I'll post some of Colorado!

Ohhhh...I have definately neglected this poor lil blog for way too long. But for today..a new post...simple...short...but a blog post.

Currently I am home for the next few weeks still with a broken wrist and cast above my elbow, which makes it difficult to do a lot of things{like fix my hair and take pictures...etc} so I have no new pictures to share. The ones I posted with this were taken weeks ago.

Our senior girls basketball team are in the regional finals and going to state next week...We are so very proud of them and their coach! Go Lady Warriors!

My mom has been very sick the past few weeks and is not doing very well at this time...She originally went into the hospital with copd , but has gotten worse over the course of the past few weeks...now she is having trouble with her blood sugar staying too high..she is not diabetic, but they said it was due to the medicine she is on...Thursday her blood sugar was 567! With 4 doses of insulin they got it down to 134 but it was back up to 251 yesterday=(

All prayers for her will be much appreciated!

Thats about it for today....I can't wait to get this cast off so I can take more pictures! Should be pretty and springy by then!

It's snowing again!!!!!

I just looked out my back door and it is snowing again.... YAY !!! I am so excited! Earlier it was just barely snowing and now it is coming down really good and looking absolutely beautiful! I have so enjoyed this week....although I know we will definately be loosing days off or making up days somewhere down the road at school/work, for now it seems like it's worth it! And since we are not really accustomed to having such cold tempatures here we are mostly staying inside...where it's warm.... The cleaning/ organizing to do list is getting smaller and I am so thankful for the extra time off alowing me to get that done....I do still have one room to tackle.....and lots of fabric to go through and get rid of. I think another trip to Wal-Mart for totes{wonderful invention} is in order. The birds are staying on my backporch near the feeders and houses all the time now and some of them have ventured off into the the yard where Bobby hung his new deer feeder to try it out and has corn sprayed all over the ground .... for them it is a seed buffet! I only wish I had more houses for them all to stay warm in....I even noticed some of the smaller birds standing on the porch rugs this morning....my guess is to keep those little feet warm. Our stray, abandened , adopted cat Puffers has been missing for a few days though { I think he is IN the neighbors house enjoying the company of their cats ....they call him Bob...we call him puffers, leaving his feeding bowl available to the other 2 stray cats who have been batteling over who gets to eat the food....sometimes it's quite a show! That about sums up our last few days....as unentertaing as they may seem , they have kept me happy....I could do this all winter!

So now that I have been off work for almost 2 weeks for Christmas break, I am finally starting to catch up on some things...October through December always seem to be so crazy busy for us that a lot of times things just don't get done or get put aside for later{or later than later in my case} Anyway.....I did finally get some things accomplished and have had several much needed and wanted jammy days, a wonderful Christmas with my family, beautiful snow yesterday that is still on the ground today{added plus!} and a few pictures along the way....OHHH did I mention that I got a camcorder for Christmas...that should make things fun for trips and family gatherings {thanks to my sweetie pie husband} {Jaycie sitting up like a big girl in between Uncle Josh and Aunt Bree}

Before anything on Christmas morning we read the Christmas story from Luke chapter 2 . this year Bree read for us....I remember when they were all too young to read the Christmas story{flashback!} Now two of our three children have babies of their own that will all too soon be able to read themselves....

{Kayden really had fun this Christmas.....he is learning that the presents under the tree mean toys for him!} {Jaycie was perfectly content chewing on wrapping paper or bows}

Sunday morning Candace and Jimmy surprised us ! They got up early and drove 3 hours to be with us in service and then came by the house for a visit and some christmas pictures...I hadn't seen Jaycie since the beginning of November....looked like she had grown so much! We had a nice visit and some cute pictures!

Tuesday morning our lil Kooper made his grand appearance....weighing in at 9 lb. 15 oz, and 20" long....and ohhhh how adorable he is! Mommy, Daddy, and Kooper got to go home today and I am sure they were glad for that! I'm SURE I will get more pictures of our new little handsome man again soon but for now I have these to share.....

Oh my goodness...I knew it had been a while since I posted anything on here but didn't realize it had been half a month!!!! Just so many things going on.....

* We found out that Brees ankle problems stem at least partly due to the fact that she has a fallen arch, so we are in the process of getting her fitted for orthotics that she will have to wear in her shoes and hopefully correct the problem...she stillgoes to physical therapy twice a week and it seems to be helping some...

* Bree was chosen as one of the homecoming maids for tenth grade this year....she is very excited!

* After some weird episodes with tingling in my face hands and feet and some semi numbing, blood pressure rising....blood sugar falling and a good scare with stroke like symptoms and a trip to ER we did finally find out that at least part of my problem is an underactive thyroid.....not sure if the meds will fix my BP problem or the blood sugar thing but at least part of my problems will get better....that is part of the reason for so few posts...just been too tired..........ZZZZzzzzz......

* Candace is engaged and getting married to Jimmy Linville....they haven't set a date yet..... but she seems very happy!

* Sadly, I found out a week or so ago that Candace will be moving back to Weiner.....and so will my babies.....this makes a Grammy very sad that I won't get to see Candace or my babies very much anymore.... I try real hard not to thinkabout it but sometimes it gets a little hard not to....

* Bree got VERY good grades so far this year....all A's and B's so far.....I'm hoping they stay that way!

*Bobby and Josh went bow hunting down towards Morrilton this past weekend and both came home with a deer.....needless to say they were happy hunters! =) I thought it might curb the desire to watch hunting shows on T.V. but I think it only feuled the fire! I'm glad they had a good time though.

* We had a wonderful day with the church last weekend at the Tracks in Branson..... lots of go cart riding, laser tag, bumper cars{which I did not ride} A great day for all of us! {see pictures above}

* It is only 2 short weeks till War Eagle Craft show.....I love going to that craft show and spending the day with my honey! Spring show got cancelled due to the rain.....SO I'm anxoious to see what all they have for the fall show.....

*I am LOVIN' this fall weather.....such beautiful days! I can't wait for the leaves to start changing to their beautiful fall colors!

Okay...we took Bree to the sports clinic Saturday and still not sure what is going on with her ankle but she starts physical therapy tomorrow afternoon....I feel sorry for her because I know it is going to be VERY painful.....especially since she cannot move , stand or walk on that foot! =( It's hard for a momma to see one of her babies hurting.....hopefully therapy will work because after that if it doesn't the Dr. mentioned a stress x-ray and possibly reconstruction surgery{ouch!!} Please be praying for her....I know she will appreciate it!

And I am amazed to say the least that my blog has had somewhere around 4500 plus hits in the past few weeks! That is a LOT for my little blog but Thanks to all who visit me here....I love to hear your comments, photo tips if you want to share them{I know I need them =) }, etc.

This is fair week here and I.....am not gonna go if I don't have to....Is that pittiful or what? When did I stop liking the fair? I love the exibits but just not interested in the rides anymore....Am I gettting old? Yikes!!! I think I am =\..........I do get to keep my little sweet pea darlin Jaycie this Friday overnight so her mommy can go to the fair after work and not have to worry about having to drive all the way back over here......

Jaycie is starting to get a little vocal with her cooing and she loves to smile at you when you are talking....she loves watching tv{she doesn't care what is on...I think she thinks they are talking to her} she loves being snuggled and hates getting her bath.

Wow, It seems like it has been a long week even though I only had to work 4 days.....I did feel much better this week than the previous 2 weeks but still having a yucky bout with fibromyalgia, and migraines. But all in all a pretty good week!

Bree is once again having major trouble with her ankle{that she broke last year} so we are taking her to the sports clinic in the morning so hopefully she can find out what exactly is wrong with it...I really hope it is not broke again but it sure looks pretty bad...she has been on crutches most of the week. We are having our church picnic tomorrow at the park so she will be missing part of that I'm sure. And just for fun I will throw this in.... Yesterday I was on my way to town and we got to the stop light just up the road and this is what Kayden seen

And he said....Grammy! you see dem french fries? See dem fries? And so naturally we got him some fries and a Dop Pepper {actually a Happy Meal} from the french fry place....lol

Then.... His car seat is by Jaycies in the back seat and she started crying and he said Bree look at dis....and put his finger in her mouth and she hushed right up....he really thought he had done something big ! Yes I did make him take his finger out of her mouth, but she was probably enjoying the salt from his little french fry fingers!

I finally got all the pictures edited that need to be edited and now I am trying to clean up my computer some and get rid of lots and lots of pictures that are on it......that'll take a while!

Today I got to take pictures of two little cuties!!! Little sister slept through almost the whole thing, but she didn't mind the camera on little bit =).......Here's a few to share..... We tried to get the duck where it face the camera but she liked it better facing her! She won!!!

Hopefully we will get to get some more at a later date when she is awake....They are both so cute!

Today due to the rain and sogginess the plans to take outside pictures for a friend were cancelled and since I had Miss Jaycie for the da anyway, and didn't feel much like doing anything else.....I set up a few things right quick to get some long overdue pictures of her.....It's hard to believe that she is already 2 1/2 months old.....and getting cuter everyday....{or at least she is to me}

Wow! it has been such a crazy busy last few weeks...and this ole body is just tired! Sooooo, that is why I haven't posted anything new.....gotta get some new pics of Jaycie on here...she is 2 months already and growing and changing so fast....and I'll try to get some new ones of Kayden if we can get him slowed down enough! Candace is potty training Kayden now and bought him new big boy underwear yesterday and he was very excited....he told me when he got to my house that he got new shoes and new wonderwear!!!! lol......just had to laugh on that one.....=) Hmmmm.....I wonder....if new shoes makes children think they can run faster, what does new wonderwear help them do.....potty train faster? I hope so!

Today when Kayden was over ..in between pulling out the toys, and books and eating pickles, and trail mix and granola bars and of course watching "CARS"{his I gotta watch it everyday at Grammys house movie } he was telling me about him and his daddy going fishing....I love to hear him talking in {almost }complete sentences.....

Me-did you go fishing?

He's so cute and apparently I have nothing better to do than to enjoy these simple little conversations with a 2 year old......I love to talk to him......he tells me every little bit "I luuu you Grammy" "I luuuu you Grammy" {ahhhhhhhh------sigh} This is just what it takes to make for a happy day in this Grammys life! And then to top it all off a smile from Jaycie! She too will one day make me smile with her sweet little conversations =)

So parents of little ones who in your eyes are growing up way to fast and you just want them to be your babies forever.......it's not all bad....the reward for letting them grow up and become Mommies and Daddys are the grandchildren they bring home for you to enjoy!

BUUUUUUUTTTTTT.......I'm not ready for Bree to grow up that much yet either so I think I will let her stay my little girl for as long as I can!

I got a few snapshots of my lil darlins a few days ago and wanted to share!!!! Kayden likes seeing his picture on the camera but wan't stay still long enough usually to take any of him......Jaycie is filling out wonderfully! It's hard to believe she is already 6 weeks old....

We spent several hours Monday looking for just the right spot at the lake{because the river is too cold} to take a picture that we had seen over the weekend, but no luck in finding anything we really liked but we did get a few by a dock and the lake so at least our time was'nt totally wasted....when we find the right spot for our picture I'll post it!

Yesterday Bobby and I went for a short day trip to Petit Jean State Park. the weather was wonderful....not too hot and humid. We only had time for a few short hikes, but did get to see the Cedar Falls that I had been told about.....it was worth the hike, but not very photographable due to all the people behind the falls.....makes picture taking kinda hard. Lots of people enjoying the same hike as us =). Out of sheer stupidity I suppose I wore my fat baby boots for hiking thinking boots would be good for that....NOT.....so I wore blisters on my feet in a short 2 hour hike so that kinda put a damper on any further hiking yesterday.....Maybe we will go again with hiking shoes on next time............... Bird in flight.....

Lots of hikers visiting the same spot as us............... made for a very busy trail.

I'm thinking this is kind of the half way mark on the trail.....seemed like it to us anyway! I liked this little bridge for some reason.....

This was the forst trail we took......very deceptive.....we thought we would save ourselves the actual hike to the falls if we could see the falls from here......ummmmm....not really, just a very small view of the very top of the falls, but not enough to get a good picture.....maybe in the late fall or winter you might be able to see it from this trail but not in the summer.....was a nice walkway though....

Petit Jeans grave.........such a sad story

The Legend of Petit Jean, and how the mountain received its name, begins in the 1700's with the story of a young French Nobleman, Chavet, who lived during the period of the French exploration of the New World. He requested permission to explore a part of the Louisiana Territory, and for a grant to claim part of the land. The King granted Chavet’s approval. Chavet was engaged to be married to a beautiful young girl form Paris, Adrienne Dumont. When told of his plans, she asked that they be married right away so she could accompany him. Thinking of the hardship and danger on the journey, Chavet refused her request, telling her upon his return if the country was good and safe, they would be married and go to the New World. Adrienne refused to accept his answer, and disguised herself as a cabin boy and applied to the captain of Chavet's ship for a position as a cabin boy, calling herself Jean. The girl must have been incredibly clever in her disguise, for it is said that not even Chavet recognized her. The sailors called her Petit Jean, which is French for Little John. The ocean was crossed in early spring; the vessel ascended the Mississippi River to the Arkansas River, to the foot of the mountain. The Indians on the mountain came to the river and greeted Chavet and invited the sailors to spend time on the mountain. Chavet, Petit Jean, and the sailors spent the summer atop Petit Jean Mountain until fall approached and they began preparations for their voyage back to France. The ship was readied and boarded the evening before departure. That night, Petit Jean became ill with a sickness that was strange to Chavet and his sailors. It was marked with fever, convulsions, delirium, and finally coma. Her condition was so grave at daylight that the departure was delayed. During the illness, Petit Jean's identity was, of course, discovered. The girl confessed her deception to Chavet and begged his forgiveness. She requested that if she died, to be carried back to the mountaintop that she had spent her last days on, and be buried at a spot overlooking the river below. The Indians made a stretcher out of deerskins and bore her up the mountain. At sundown, she died. Many years later a low mound of earth was found at the point we now call Petit Jean's Grave. Her legend, her death, is said to give the mountain and the overlook an enchanting and delightful quality that draws visitors back again and again.

This little girl is changing and growing so fast. Seems like her looks change from day to day and her cheeks are getting so fluffy! I made her a new tutu because the other one was too big even though it was very small but I still haven't figure out how to get some good shots with it and her....she wiggles so much to be so little! Anyway once again brother was napping {and we don't bother him when he is napping} so we only got a few of Jaycie.

I like this one...even though you can't see much of the tutu! Her little piggies look chubby here but they really are not{YET!}

Wow!!! I can hardly believe it's Wednesday already..... this week is going by so fast! Me and Bobby took my mom to Little Rock yesterday and on the way home stopped by the cutest little town called Gilbert that a friend from work Sylvia had told me about a while back.....Not much there but it sure is cute.....and I didn't take a single picture but I do plan to go

back sometime .........

Bathroom makeover......

Well, we finally finished one of the two bathrooms this past week.....Bobby gave up a large part of his vacation to help me with this but I think he would have rather been fishing! He did a great job......we are still waiting on more beadboard to come in to finish the small bathroom but here is what we have done so far!

This is the before pictures.....this room was long overdue for some fixing up.....I think I put the wall paper up about 9 or 10 years ago.....uuuugh.....that's a long time....anyway the paper was starting to rollup at the seams either because I didn't do the seams good enough or because of all the steam from the showers over the years{either way it looked bad}

We were going to just take down the 3 layers of wallpaper but decided it would be much quicker to just put up the beadboard and paint it.....HAH!!!!! I think it took just as long if not longer this way but I sure do like the way it looks now......

Still looking for the right shower curtain so for now just the plain liner will have to do....It's hard to find a red that matches and I'm just not sure about putting that much black in there! We love the new faucet{still a little touch up work to be done by the door and tub, but other than that I think it's done}

Me and Bree have had a cabinet picked out for months to put in the bathroom for storage but it sold out and we can't find another one like it so I opted for this cute little thing to hold the towels and the plus side of it is that we won't be cluttering it up with unnessary things because it just won't hold them! Some things just work out for the best! =)

Josh and Melissa gave me this picture for Christmas and I love it!!!! I am glad I have the perfect place for it now!!! I am hoping to do the the other wall with pictures of my family with western hats/boots etc. on...we'll see!

Sharing a few pictures from our home this week......

{Josh taking a break from working in the shop} Bree and Kayden have been having fun in the pool.......

Kayden loves the pool....he is a water duck.....He calls his floaties his spider man muscles =) plus he has one of those swimsuits that have the built in floatation so between that and his "muscles" he stays above water and that's the way we like it!!!

Kayden is trying out the baby bouncy seat....I don't think he realizes that is was his once{and he didn't like it then}

We have been re-doing bathrooms this week and it's .....ummmmm.....a job.......our just re-painting has turned into a project, but it's looking great so hopefully I will have pictures to post of that soon.......poor Bobby is using a large part of his week vacation to help with this project{I think he'sd rather be fishing=) }

Several weeks ago I STARTED the process of tearing down wallpaper and things to get ready to re-do our bathrooms{long overdue} and then I got busy with the new baby coming etc. and quit......but today we are back on track{for a while anyway} and hopefully by the weekend our bathrooms will be done! Ahhh....I can't wait.

Too cute right? But what he didn't say because he doesn't know how yet is that he spilled an entire can of Enfamil powder formula on his mommas bedroom floor this morning! Not a good way to start your day.......

I hate...Migraines and fibromyalgia

I fear....failing God

I hear...bird's singing

I don't think....about the calories in a Suzy-Q snack cake{I enjoy them much more that way!}

I regret...things I did as a teenager{don't we all?}

I am not...a seafood eater{uuuuuughhhhh-can't seem to get past the smell}

I dance....none that I know of

I sing....mostly in the car or at church

I never...seem to get to spend eough time with my husband{I'm gonna run away with him}

I rarely.....go to a family or church event or gathering without my camera

I cry when I watch.....Christmas Shoes

I am not always......on the computer!{but do visit often}

I hate that....I usually never finish my "to do " lists in a day

I'm confused about.....politics and government bail outs

I need....a longer summer break and a Mocha Java Chiller to go please !!! =)

I should.....be more thankful for what I have !

I am definately missing Colorado! These warm....ummmm okay HOT days don't make it any better either......I long to go back to the Rocky Mountains/EstesPark....Ouray...Silverton.... Durango.....Delores.....Lake City......ahhhhh and the list goes on...................... I miss the smell of the Colorado Spruce....the cooler tempertuers......the wildlife, and just about everything else except the very long trip.....BUT not Colorado this year, so for now I'll just have to keep looking back to years of pictures from previous trips there........

While I was preparing my lesson for class tonight on the wise man and foolish man building their houses I ran across this and thought it was good enough to share with my pre-teens and also everyone else......we sometimes get so busy that we hurry though things{I am talking about myself mostly} and maybe don't always do as good a job as we should or need to.......Enjoy.....

Building a House

An elderly carpenter was ready to retire. He told his boss of his plans to leave his job and live a more leisurely life with his wife and family. He would miss the paycheck, but they could get by. The contractor was sorry to see such a worker go, so he asked the carpenter to build just one more house as a personal favor. The carpenter said yes, but in time it was easy to see that his heart was not in his work. He resorted to shoddy workmanship and used inferior materials. The house was not up to his usual standards. It was an unfortunate way to end a dedicated career.

When the carpenter finished his work, the contractor came by, but instead of inspecting the house, he handed the carpenter the front door key and said, “This is your house,” he said. “It is my gift to you.” The carpenter was shocked! What a shame! If he had only known he was building his own house, he would have done it all so differently. So it is with us. We build our lives, a day at a time, often putting less than our best into the building. Then with a shock we look at the situation we have created and find that we are now living in the house we have built. If we could do it over, we’d do it much differently. But we cannot go back… You are the carpenter of your life. Each day you hammer a nail, place a board, or erect a wall. Your attitudes and the choices you make today build your “house” for tomorrow… It is the only life you will ever build. Even if you live it for only one day more, build wisely!

{Candace and Jaycie getting a little rest}

Candace and Jaycie got to come home from the hospital yesterday......she was ready{I think all Mommies are} Miss Jaycie is not the least bit bothered by her big brothers noises......Kayden was glad to see her when his Daddy brought him home. He wanted to see her piggies so Candace showed them to him. Then he wanted to know where her shoes were and she told him she didn't have any on so he ran back to the bedroom and got one of his spongebob shoes{size 8....lol} and brought it to mommy so she could have shoes to wear{awww...so sweet} but when she told him she couldn't wear shoes that big I took him back to find Jaycie some shoes that would kinda sorta fit her tiny lil feet and he brought them back so mommy could put them on....Then.....he told his mommy to let Jaycie walk!!!!{TOOO FUNNY}

He really loves his little sister and for that I am thankful......very clingy to mommy right now though which is understandable......

He helped me keep an eye on Jaycie for a little while today{except he was in her bed!}

I tried putting her in a few hats today to get some pictures but a few of them were still way big on her and the cocoon works ok but she is a fiesty lil thing and kept wiggling out of it{maybe have to use that one while she is sleeping.........

Tomorrow is our BIG day!!! Kayden will be a big brother.....and he knows he is getting a Jaycie but if you ask him where she is he points to his tummy and says Jaycie...Kayden's Jaycie! Too funny.....he also knows that mama has a Jaycie but tomorrow will be a whole new experience for him..... He is very infatuated with all the baby things.....car seat, bouncy seat, swing,bed...etc.....but he may want to give it all back when he finds out he has to share them =)..For now I am listening to his sweet little breaths as he lays on my bed sleeping {after a very busy morning of Yes Maam I am TWO years old tantrummmmmmms!} He is so sweet laying there with Grammy's green pillow{gotta have that pillow when he's here} and his Curious George blankey .........

It's tough getting Kayden to look at the camera.....let alone smile too......gotta get 'em while I can

And this is just the sweetest face......makes all those tantrums he is having seem so insignificant when he looks up at me with those eyes......

But THEN..............this could happen at any given moment! Again......... who says being a child is easy......so many emotions in that little body......

Josh and Melissa came by Friday night to share their exciting news that they are having a BOY !!!! They said Dr. was 99.9 % sure it was a boy after doing the ultrasound. Their for sure ultrasound is next month but I think they seen enough to tell already! I am thrilled!!!! Of course I would have been thrilled with a girl too......it's a BABY.....doesn't matter which one to me!!! I love em all! They are going to name him Kooper . I think that is adorable!

It kinda took lil Kayden a while to get started talking much but now he talks constantly......it is so cute {most of the time} but he also can tell you where he hears things he says too ! When he says or does something not nice we tell him that was naughty so now that is one of his favorite things to say.....Grammy thats naughty....even when you don't do anything naughty; or he will ask "is that naughty?" when he knows he did something bad.

He also loves saying "Woman!!! gimme some gum!{thanks to Marcus =)} ," You hear me?", and "Is that funny?" He asks lots of questions and wants to know who everything belongs to! He'll ask " Grammy, is that Grammy's?" and when I say yes he says "Oh, thats Grammy and Kayden's?" He is so funny......he calls his Uncle Beau "Buncle Beau" {that is one of my favorite things to hear him say}

It has just been a LONG time since we had a little one running around so I guess it's all new again to me for him to say such things {or else I am just easily amused and entertained} but I do enjoy watching him grow and learn do do new things!!!!

He loves Jaycie in Mommy's tummy, but I'm kinda anxious to see if he still loves her when she is out of Mommy's tummy next week! We'll see!!!! =)

A few weeks ago we went to the park to get some pictuers of Candace and Kayden before she had the baby and the prisiners were working there cleaning up, so we went to the river instead.......then we went back Monday and WOW!!!! Clean up I guess. They cut out all the brush and bushes all along the little creek{which made for some really pretty pictures before.....now it's kinda bare} Kayden was very busy as usual and just wanted to play{in the water mostly}

We only have a little over a week till miss Jaycie arrives so this was a chance to get some Mommy /Kayden pictures...........

Love this look, but I'm not even sure why he did that.......

Kayden has discovered that he loves to fwing {swing}.....not in the baby swing now but the "Big Boy" swing.......{which is a whopping 8" off the ground} He sure thinks he's big though and very independant sometimes =)

And........he has loved for a long time Papa's Mawn Mower =).......I think most little boys do.....

A lady from church Sister Joy Ford told Kayden instead of saying"CHEESE" when he gets his pictures taken to say "COOKIES" !!!! He picked up on that in a hurry so now that's what he says......

{un-edited again I know, but just wanted to post them right quick so I didn't take time to edit---maybe next week I'll do better at editing before posting =) ....maybe}

Mt. Magazine getaway......

This past weekend we went to Mt. Magazine for a few days of camping{before it gets too hot-I don't do sticky hot buggy camping }. Our campsite was very nice, and the weather was absolutely perfect. Not too hot or cold although I did get chilly when the wind was blowing but that is nothing unusual for me. No Mosquitoes!!!! YAY!!!

We also did quite a bit of hiking..I love to hike and they had some pretty nice trails there. They were for the most part easy walking trails. Lots of beautiful views of the mountains and lakes. We usually don't end up getting to spend a lot of time together as a family due to schedules and running every direction so this was nice for us. Bree on the other hand got a little/lot bored pretty quick when we weren't busy doing something. Usually when we go to Colorado or anywhere out west camping they have game rooms or pools or something to keep the kids occupied and there was none of that at Mt. Magazine and we didn't take anything either.

All in all it was a great little getaway but I think 2 days at that park was long enough to see about all of it.......maybe we will venture out again this summer since we are not planning an out west vacation{whah!!!} like we usually do.........

This happy little sign was across the road from our campsite........ doesn't give me a very cozy feeling so I had everyone sleep in the center of the tent the first night!!!! {there is just something about waking up with a bear nawing on my HEAD that wouldn't feel right} But then we found out that there had only been 2 actual bear attacks or sightings in the park.....can't remember which, but we {I} was much calmer the second night.......

Cancace update: Candace went to the Dr. this mornig supposing to have another ultrasound to see if Jaycie has turned and if not they were supposed to be taking her early this week..... NO ultrasound today, but Dr. says she is starting to turn some now and is doing good so he is not going to do the C-Section right now but does have her scheduled delivery date set for June 19th.........Thank you everyone for your prayers. We appreciate them very much and even more so are blessed that God has heard and answered and the baby is turning on her own so she doesn't have to arrive too early...........

I have been wanting to take pictures of Candace and her little growing belly for a while but she works so much so it's hard to find time when she can go but we did for a little while yesterday. Our plans were to go to Cooper but they had all the trails closed since the prison workers were cleaning up{and they really do a good job!} so we ended up at the river because Kayden fell asleep so we couldn't wander very far from the car. We are going to try again soon to get some with Kayden so I will post them when I do........

My dear sweet friend Jessica is moving to Alaska soon{whah!!} to be with her husband{and I don't blame her} but we did get together last Monday for some Mother's Day pictures{which were supposed to be taken before Mother's Day , but due to the rain had to be postponed}.
